Express Entry
Express entry is a popular method of immigration in Canada that grants permanent residence based on a point system. It is a government of Canada online application system.
To become eligible for express entry applicant needs to meet certain eligibility criteria defined by government of Canada. As first step applicant needs to gather require documents to create the online profile for getting the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score. Once the profile has been created then it will be placed into the Express entry pool for draw. Government of Canada performs draws at regular intervals and set the cut off CRS score. Candidates who are having highest score will get the invitation to apply for Permanent Residency.

COMPREHENSIVE RANKING SYSTEM (CRS)
It is the points-based system used for individual to get the points and rank in the Express Entry pool. It has two sections, Core Points Section and Additional or Other Points which individual may eligible to qualify. Each section has up to 600 points and individual needs to fill the required details to get the final points.
Core Points Section (points up to 600) based on below factor
• Age
• Education
• Experience
• Spouse factors such as (Language Proficiency and Education)
• Skills transferability (such as education and work experience)
Additional Points Section (points up to 600)
• Obtained any Canadian degrees, diplomas or certificates
• Have a valid job offer
• Obtained a nomination from a province or territory
• An immediate family member ( brother or sister) living in Canada who is a citizen or permanent resident
• French language proficiency
After submitting an express entry profile, candidates have to wait for the draw. Candidates meeting criteria successfully and score are within the reach of cut off score of draw will get the invitation to apply for permanent residency.
