Candidates with an open work permit can work for any institution or employer in Canada. There are a few exceptions to this rule, which are as follows: The candidate will not be able to work for an employer who is identified as ineligible. Employers who provide escorting or erotic services.

WORK PERMITS FOR EMPLOYERS

A work permit that is particular to an employer is called an employer-specific work permit. Only the employer whose name appears on the work permit is allowed to employ the candidate. It also specifies how long a candidate will be eligible to work for that company.
